The Company, based in Bradwell, Essex, was formed in 2005 by Stephen Cross and Vincent McAtamney and has been trading as a private company completing numerous successful projects in and around the South East. Vincent McAtamney has been awarded CEDIA (Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association) Certified Professional Designer 1 status, making Smart Media Solutions the best qualified suppliers to the smart home builder.
CEDIA has around 3800 members world wide and is an international trade association whose members are specialists in planning and installing electronic systems for the home. Smart Media Solutions, along with all CEDIA authorised installers subscribe to a strict code of professional conduct and ethics.
Stephen and Vincent have a combined experience in this specialised arena of 30 years. In order to achieve the highly accredited Certified Professional Designer 1 status, Smart Media Solutions has proved competence and professionalism by producing evidence of its work. Projects have included distributed AV, IT convergence and Home Cinema builds in some of the UK’s most prestigious Stately Homes along with some ingenious use of Crestron control systems into contemporary refurbished properties around Southend, London and the Thames Corridor.
Custom Installations as they are known, essentially means the installation of electronics into the home to control and manage many systems including Lighting, IT distribution, Audio and Video Storage and Distribution as well as entry and security systems.
